Thomas Perry, 69, passed away Saturday March 8, 2014 at Masonic Heath Care in Wallingford. He was the husband of Phyllis (Norton) Perry.
Tom was born August 1, 1944 in New Haven the son of the late Martin and Viola (Herrmann) Perry. He was a lifelong Cheshire resident where he was a Life Member of the Cheshire Fire Department where he held the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain and Assistant Chief. He retired from SNET where he worked as a manager and was most recently a farmer at Norton Brothers Fruit Farm in Cheshire. He was active with Boy Scout Troop 92 and was the Superintendent of Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
Besides his wife Phyllis of 48 years, Tom is survived by his children Michael (Tracy) of Durham, Thomas II "Tim" (Tara) of Cheshire, and Brian of Cheshire; one grandson; two step-grandsons; a sister and two sisters-in-laws.
Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
