NEW LEBANON, COLUMBIA Co., NY - Mr. Harold Francis Baumann, ( 64y ) d: January 11, 1982 - of Ski Lodge Trailer Park died yesterday at his home after a sudden illness. He was the husband of the former Ruth M. Arthur, to whom he would have been married 43 years this year. Born in Hinsdale, Mass., he was the son of the late William and Etta Bragg Baumann. He lived most of his life in Dalton and moved to new York state two years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Before his retirement in 1980, he was employed asa a bolier operator at Byron Weston Co., in Dalton for 25 years. He was a member of Dalton American Legion Post 155, and the Dalton VFW. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, William A. and Ralph E. Baumann, both of Pittsfield, Mass.; three daughters, Mrs. Sally Wilcox, Mrs. Alice Fiske and Mrs. Sharon Winn, all of Pittsfield; two brothers, Ralph Baumann of Hinsdale and William Baumann of Canterbury, Conn.; his stepfather, Howard Lapier, of Pittsfield; a half brother, Howard F. Lapier Jr. of Washington, Mass., and a half sister, Mrs. Mabel Watson of Hancock, Mass. END:
