Dr. Tamio 'Tom' Kumagai, 55, died Thursday, 16 August 1979.

Born on Thursday, 11 October 1923, he was the son of the late Ikuji 'Jimmy' Kumagai formerly of Denver, Colorado and Nobuyo (Ryugo) of Denver, Colorado.

He had a wife of 22 years, Chizuko 'Dorothy' (Madokoro) Kumagai.

Tamio 'Tom' is survived by three children, Randall Thomas Sr. of Denver, Colorado, Dr. Steven Gary, and Patricia Ann; seven siblings, Hatsuye Miyauchi and her husband Dr. Yukio Miyauchi of Glendale, Arizona, Tsutomu of Washington Township, York County, California, Kiyoshi of Washington Township, York County, California, Hisashi and his wife Teruko Teru (Ogasawara) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sami of Washington Township, York County, California, Eunice Watanabe and her husband George Watanabe of Mount Prospect, Illinois, and Toshiko Evalyn Takaoka and her husband Terry Tetsuaki Takaoka of Denver, Colorado.

Tamio 'Tom' was preceded in death by one brother, Kikuo of Sacramento, California.
