Gertrude A. (Combs) "Trudy" Guinn, age 91 of Brookville, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Cypress Pointe in Englewood. Trudy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brookville. She deeply loved her husband, children, grandchildren and her family home, she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son: David Guinn of Vandalia, daughters and sons-in-law: Ruth Ann & Tony Baldasare of West Milton, Patricia L. Konkler of IN, and Judith P. & Steve Bullock of Lewisburg, sister: Shirley Burns of KY, brother and sisters-in-law: Glen & Alma Combs of KY, Mary Combs of GA., and Bertha Combs of KY, brother-in-law: Harold Hacker of KY, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: William Vernon Guinn in 2011, parents: Enos & Virginia (Conn) Combs, and siblings: Ruth, Ruby Mae, James "J.B.", Harold, and Ronnie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Pastor Ron Evans officiating. Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to either Hospice of Dayton, or Samaritan's Purse, envelopes will be provided.
