ROLLINGSTONE, Minn.

Kathleen "Kricket" Emma (Jung) Krick, age 92, of Rollingstone died Monday, May 26, 2014, at her home in Rollingstone.

Kathleen was born Sept. 23, 1921, in Valier, Mont., to Alois and Catherine Jung. She was raised in Rollingstone where she attended and graduated from Holy Trinity School. Kathleen married Frances M. Krick and raised three daughters, Karen, Pam and Cindy.

Kathleen was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Parish and Catholic Aid Association. She enjoyed taking part in Rollingstone Senior Dining and Bonnie Rae's morning coffee club.

Kathleen had a lifelong love of flying, encouraged by her father, which she continued through-
out her life. She held a private pilot's license for many years and still enjoyed sharing her flight logbook. Her flying instructor and childhood hero was Max Conrad of Winona. Her passion for flying was also matched by her love of motorcycles, which she rode and owned proudly.

In celebration of her 90th birthday, Kathleen cruised around Rollingstone on a Harley and took
a ride in a Piper Cub airplane.

Kathleen was a devoted and hard-working person. Her jobs included working at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Co. in Minneapolis and servicing military aircraft during World War II. Also, for many years she worked at Speltz Chick Hatchery in Rollingstone, Hubbard Turkey Plant in Altra, and finally worked at Winona County Home Health before retiring. In her later years.

She enjoyed eating out, playing cards, tying quilts, bird watching and caring for her many flowers. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with friends.

She had a positive attitude and witty sense of humor that will be never forgotten. Her positive outlook on life will be missed, especially by her family.

Kathleen is survived by her brother, Paul Jung of Wayzata, Minn.; daughters, Karen (Walter) Meyer, Pam (Richard) Wood and Cindy (John) Putzier; grandchildren, Scott (Angie Wright) Meyer, Nicole (Scott) May, Michelle (Eric) LeBlanc, Kathryn (Wally Stanley) Meyer, Jeff (Chelsea) Wood, Shawn (Emilee) Wood, John Putzier, Becky (Jay) Todd and Ellie Putzier; and great-grandchildren, Maria, Keely, Kaitlin, Kaya, Ali and Ryan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Alois; and son-in-law, John.

Services for Kathleen will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone with the Rev. William Kulas. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
