Jennifer Denise Coates Kirby, 39 of Hardy passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 surrounded by the love and continued support of her family. She was predeceased by her grandparents, John and Evelyn Howe and Channing and Gladys Coates. Jennifer is survived by her children and her strength, Joshua Channing Kirby and Peyton MacKenzie Kirby both of Hardy, VA; her parents Robert and Deborah Howe Coates; sister, Melissa Coates Whitaker and her husband Christian; nieces, Neena Jade Whitaker and Crawford Paige Whitaker; aunt, Jonnie Hicks, cousins, Phillip Hicks and Laurie Wagner, many, many special friends including Jennifer's best friend Tracy McDaniel.
