Mr. Edland was born July 10, 1955 at Valley City to Norma and Millard Edland. He graduated from Lehr High School, Lehr, and served in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1978. He had made his home at Welton, Arizona and was employed by McElhaney Cattle Co. there.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Olson, Roll, Arizona, one sister, Mrs. James (Connie) O'Connell, Cooperstown; a brother, Everett Olson, Roll, Arizona; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Everson, Walum, Ella Edland and Art Edland, Cooperstown. His father, Millard, and a brother, Jonathan, preceded him in death.
