Funeral services for Cyril J. Braun, 69, of R. 6, will be held at 10:15 a.m. SAturday at Zacherl Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Dotyville. The Rev. Wayne J. Barta and Msgr. Eugene Kapalczynski, O.F.M. Cap., will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Braun died Thurs. Aug. 27, 1987 at his home. He was born May 17, 1918, in St. Peter to Anton and Mary Louise Lindle Braun. On Feb. 12, 1944, he married Lola Blatz at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Dotyville. Mr. Braun was employed as a welding salesman for Tri-Welders for 33 years before retiring in 1983. He was a member of the American Welding Society of America, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Dotyville, and the church’s Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth of St. Peter and Bruce of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Devine of Longmont CO, and Patricia Braun of Wauwatosa; one grandson; three brothers, Gerald and Joseph, both of St. Peter, and Sylvester of North Fond du Lac; and one sister, Mrs. Francis (Lucille) Nett of St. Peter. His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. Memorials may be directed to St. Agnes Hospice Hope.
