Raymond F. Gardner, 68, of Kirkville RD, signal boss on the New York Central Railroad between Minoa and Oneida, died Monday afternoon at his home. Born in Schodie Center, Mr. Gardner lived in Kirkville 46 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen of America. Surviving are his wife, the former Ethwin Darling; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald Damon, Bridgeport, Mrs. Greiner, Minoa, and Mrs. Edward Wojcik, Cicero; three sons, Robert of Chittenango, Gerald and Richard Gardner of Kirkville; three sisters, Mrs. Mavel Snyder of Toledo, O., Mrs. Walter Sweet and Miss Mary Gardner of Albany; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Russell H. Schepp Funeral Home, Minos, the Rev. M.F. Anderson of the First Methodist Church, Chittenango officiating. Internment will be in Kirkville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 109 East Ave., Minoa.
