John Frank Boyd was born in Moscow Idaho on Feb 19, 1940, to John Frank Boyd and Bernice Linehan Boyd, and passed away January 30, 2014. John went to school in Pullman and competed in high school basketball and football under Coach Ray Hobbs. He married Mary Dailey in 1981.

John retired from Pratt Moving and Storage in Pullman and was a member of Mayflower Movings "Elite Fleet". John loved to golf, and considered West Richland golf course his home away from home, but also enjoyed playing in some local fund raising tournaments.

John is survived by his wife and 6 children/ stepchildren; John Corneal Boyd, Micheal Allen Boyd, Cindy Dee Boyd, Darren Ray Boyd, Burt Arthur Dailey, and Lindie Ann Gunter; 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A private family ceremony was held Friday March 28, 2014 with close friends and family
