Andrew Jackson "Jack C." Morris was one of the sons of Elijah Oliver and Martha "Mattie" (Sanders/Saunders)Morris. His maternal grandparents were most likely Gideon E. and Catherine "Katie" Jane (Henley) Sanders/Saunders.

On 3 Jul 1891, Jack married Martha Susan "Susie" Winburn in Barbour County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Joseph/Josiah and Emily A. M. (Warr) Winburn.

Jack and Susie had eleven known children. They are as follows:

2) Sarah L. 9 Feb 1889 - 23 Aug 1920
3) Emma M. 9 Apr 1892 - 26 Oct 1940

Jack and Susie moved from Barbour County, Alabama to Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia about the year 1928 to be closer to their youngest child, Annie P. Both Jack and Susie died in Columbus, but were buried in Dale County, Alabama.

Jack's death certificate lists him as being buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Some of his and Susie's children are buried in the same cemetery. Both Jack and Susie are buried in unmarked graves.
