Billy Dwayne Meeks, age 49, of Pelham, died on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Born in Danville on February 9, 1965, he was the son of Billy Wayne Meeks, who predeceased him, and Essie Matherly Evans, who survives him. He is also survived by his step-father, David Evans. In addition to his mother of Danville, he is survived by three brothers, David Jones, I. C. Jones, and Michael Jones, and four sisters, Tonya Oakes, Jennifer Hyler, Sherry Pullin and Tammy Mustain. He was predeceased by one brother, Robert Jones, III.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Blvd. Church Of God. Interment will follow in Schoolfied Cemetery.
