Vernona R. Jenewein, 63, New Castle, Ohio, died Saturday morning at his home. He was born at RD.1, Beallsville, a son of the late Jacob and Mota Milhoan Jenewein.
He was a retired farmer and state highway department employee and had been a Wayne Township trustee for the past 30 years.
Surviving are his widow, Norman Jean Morris Jenewein; two sons, Neil and Hillis, both of Beallsville; four sisters, Mrs. Lela Gay and Mrs. Betty Janoski, both of Bethesda, Mrs. Virginia Krahel, Calumet City. Ill., and Mrs. Hilda Stalder, Zanesville; three brothers, Dennis of RD 1, Bethesda, Melvin of Bethesda and Forrest of Barnesville; two grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Kelly-Kemp Funeral Home, Bethesda, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Tom Butterfield Jr. officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetry, Bethesda.
