Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Morgan Tucker
MIDLAND - Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Morgan Tucker, 77, 11545 U.S. 601, Midland, died Sept. 2, at her home.
The funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Howell Baptist Church, Concord. The body will lay in state for 30 minutes before the service. The Rev. Cal Sayles will officiate.
Visitation will be Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be at Howell's Baptist Church Cemetery, Concord. The family will meet at the home, 11545 U.S. 601, Midland.
Mrs. Tucker was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Cabarrus County to the late Luciann Smith Bost Morgan and Dallas Winslow Morgan. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Howell's Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Hazel Lee Tucker Jr.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by four daughters, Brenda G. Tucker, Winston-Salem, Phyllis T. Huneycutt, Midland, Sheree T. Barrett, Midland, and Janice T. Knight, Charlotte; one brother, Ralph Morgan, Midland; three grandchildren, Todd Huneycutt, Zachary Barrett and Katelyn Barrett; and one great grandchild, Rachel Huneycutt.
