Wilfred "Bill" Beard, 83, of Crittenden, died Saturday at Gallatin Health Care Center, Warsaw. He was a retired employee of Interlake Steel in Newport and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Beard; daughters, Brenda Gibson and Judith Rose, both of Crittenden; brothers, Vannie Beard and David Harold Beard, both of Latonia; a sister, Betty Jane Hall of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
