Louis Campanaro, Jr., 68, of West Bangor, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born: On January 18, 1937 in Pen Argyl, he was a son of the late Louis, Sr. and Dora Damico Campanaro.
Personal: Louis and his wife, the former Nancy Bartoli, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in December of 2004.
He worked at several blouse mills in the Slate Belt area, also working at the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, retiring in 2001. He was a graduate of Bangor Area High School, Class of 1954.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Memberships: Louis was a member of St. Roch's Catholic Church, West Bangor.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by two daughters, Trina, at home, and Cheryl Werner and her fiance, Dan DeLong of Pen Argyl; two sons, Kevin and his wife, Terry of Pittsburgh, Pa, and Shawn and his wife, Joann of Bangor; two sisters, Julianne Campanaro of Bethlehem, and Patricia Manento of Bath; and five grandchildren, Gary and Kerianne Werner, Krista, Kara, and Shawna Campanaro.
