SHERIDAN WOMAN DIES ON MAY 19
Funeral services were held Monday, May 21 at the Trinity Lutheran church in Sheridan for Sara Frieda Abderhalden, 82, who passed away in McMinnville May 19. Interment took place in the Harmony cemetery.
She was born in Ebnat, Switzerland, October 18, 1868, coming to the United States in 1907 where she became a citizen. In 1917 she moved to rural Sheridan and made her home there until two years ago when she came to McMinnville.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Banke, McMinnville and Elizabeth Piatt of Portland; two sons, Henry of Sheridan, and John of Portland; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
McMinnville Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
