Nicholas M. Carroll, formerly a resident of this city, dies suddenly yesterday afternoon at his home, 6434 Ogoniz avenue, Germantown, Philadelphia, when he suffered a heart attack.
Mr. Carroll lived in this city for a number of years prior to taking up residence in Philadelphia and he was known to many residents of the eastern section of the city. His former residence in this city was at Ninth street and Morton avenue. He was employed at the Baldwin Locomotive Works for a number of years.
In addition to his widow, Mrs. Helen Carroll, two sons, John, who is a student at St. Charles Seminary and Frank of the Germantown address and one daughter, Helen, of the same address, survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at the Carroll home in Germantown.
