Charles Willie Henson, age 67, of the Oak Grove Community, Decherd, died November 19 at Columbia Southern Tennessee Medical Center. He was the son of the late Thomas Oscar Henson and Willie Mae Willis Henson, of Hillsboro, who survives. He was a machinist at AEDC, a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving in the Korean Conflict, and was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Willie Joyce Henson; two sons, Dan Henson of Hillsboro, and Don Henson of the Oak Grove Community; three sisters, Tomye Sherrill of Estill Springs, Ann Oakley of Donaldson, and Sandra De Galteford of Roswell, Georgia; a brother, John Riley Henson of Rome, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Jason David Henson and Jennifer Dawn Henson, both of Decherd, and Catelin Henson of Hillsboro. Funeral services were conducted November 21 at 11 a.m. from Moore-Cortner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ralph Hart officiating. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
