Mr. Harvey Payson Barber, a resident of Chicago since 1869 and of Hamilton Park, Illinois for the past twenty-five years, died at his winter home in Tampa, Florida at the age of 87. He retired at the age of 59 and had been spending his time each year between his home in Chicago and his home in Tampa, Florida. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Henrietta Arnold Barber; three daughters, Mrs. Wilbur F. Harvey, Mrs. Samuel L. Sherrard and Mrs. Clyde McKellar; four sons, Walter, Herbert, John, and Louis Barber; and seventeen grandchildren. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
