Gerald was the adopted brother of my sisters second husband, Edwin Weis ,he was married to Sharon Rose and had one daughter and a grandchild, he grew up across the street from our family on Donaldson Street in Mount Clemens Michigan.
Gerald was a good kind and loving man , a quiet man. He always loved Bowling ,I got to go Bowling with him a few times .

Gerald Weis, 64, a lifelong Clinton Township resident, died Saturday, July 12, 2003, in St. Joseph Mercy West Hospital, Clinton Township. He was born Nov. 17, 1938, in Mount Clemens.
Mr. Weis retired after 31 years of employment with Ford Motor Co.'s Utica Trim Plant. He was a member of Eagles Aries 1269 in Mount Clemens and Moose Lodge 1837 in St. Clair Shores.
Relatives said he loved his family, his dogs and bowling. He supported The Neighborhood program for more than 22 years. Family members said he will be missed by his close friends, Hollie and Brittani Schalm.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Krista (Jeff) Droske; brother, Edwin (Shirley) Weis; and granddaughter, Ashlyne.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores, with the Rev. Thomas Duncan, pastor of Lakeshore Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.
