EDWARD J. BEITZEL
Edward J. Beitzel, 54, of 2013 Adams St., Two Rivers, died early Thursday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where he had been taken eight hours earlier. He had been treated for a heart condition for some time.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Saturday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers and at 10am at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev. H.J. Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Edward Beitzel was born Aug. 4, 1906 in Two Rivers, a son of the late Michael and Mary Neumann Beitzel. He attended St. Luke Parochial School and Washington High School in Two Rivers. For the past 15 years he was an employe of the Manitowoc Equipment Works, Manitowoc. He married Agnes Ruelle in Two Rivers Sept. 4, 1928 and was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Luke parish.
Besides his wife he leaves four daughters, Mrs. Robert Rehrauer, Miss Shirley and Mrs. Robert Lemanchek of Two Rivers and Mrs. Paul Havlichek of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; a son, James at home; three sisters, Mrs. Hilary Boettger, Two Rivers, and Mrs. Henry Gilleg and Miss Bernice of Milwaukee; three brothers, Clement, Joseph P. and George of Two Rivers and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 3pm Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8pm.
