Our readers will learn with sorrow of the death of Miss Amanda Schneider, aged 17 years, at Milwaukee, on the 1st of September. Deceased was the only daughter of Mrs. Henry Schneider who formerly lived up the Loup Valley, near Glenwood, and was well known to many of our people.
Miss Amanda was sick about two weeks and died of inflammation of the bowels. The remains were taken to Oshkosh for interment. The sympathy of our people go out to the heart broken mother and brother in their hour of bereavement.
