William L. Hall of 5 Stewart street, Canisteo, who had been in St. James hospital, Hornell, for 5 weeks died there Friday afternoon. He had been in poor health for several years, the result of an accident.
He was born in Oswego and had been a resident of Canisteo and vicinity for 25 years. He was a member of St. Joachim's church and was a former member of the I.O.O.F. He was a former Erie employee.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lena Hall; one brother, Norman A. G. Hall of Hornell; one sister, Mrs. A. M. Wade of St. Petersburg, Fla.
The funeral was held from St. Joachim's Catholic church in Canisteo at 9 a.m. Monday, Rev. Bernard Cleary officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Canisteo.
