FLOYD Jan. 17 - Mrs. Ada Allen who died so suddenly last week, was buried Thursday afternoon. She was in her 85th year. She was much beloved by the whole community and will be greatly missed. She is survived by four sisters, three of whom resided in the west, and a twin sister, Mrs. William (Zada) Cooper of Whitestown; one brother, Timothy Bailey of Rome; also a granddaughter, Mrs. H. W. Evans, with whom she resided. Rome Semi-Weekly Citizen, Tuesday, January 18, 1898
