My precious Grandfather. He was 12 years older than my grandmother when he married her and had been a bachelor for a long time. He was the most patient man I have ever known. He adored his wife and his children. He loved God. He loved Welcome Hill Church of Christ. He was the caretaker there for many years. He had the most beautiful singing voice and taught singing school before he married. He was a carpenter by trade and built the house right up the road from the church where my Mom was born. A wonderful, wonderful man.
