I never met Gayle, but, we had many phone conversations, starting in 2003, when I got my first computer. She was tracing her family tree, and Wade's as well, she helped me alot with my Eddie/Edde & Throneberry research. She sent me several documents and pictures, and I will always be grateful to her for that.

"Nancy Gayle Tassey Edde died yesterday. She was 57 years old and office manager for H&R Block.
Visitation will be held today from 3-8pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Services will be held tommorrow at 11am at the East Hill Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her mother, Lena Grace Tassey, and husband Wade Edde. She is survived by a son Chuck & Angie Edde, all of Pulaski. She is also survived by a daughter Renee & Randy Daughrity of Chapel Hill Tennessee. Other survivors inclide a brother, Donnie & Rai-Lynwood Tassey of Nashville, father and mother-in-law, William Earl & Iva Dell Edde of Pulaski, and grand-daughter, Arigail Grace Edde. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Donald Tassey.
Memorials may be made to the East Hill Church of Christ Building Fund or to the Giles County Public Library.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Nancy Gayle Tassey Edde.
The Pulaski Branch of the Bank of Frankewing will be closed tommorrow from 10:30 until noon for the funeral of Gayle Edde."
