ROCK HILL -- Mr. Samuel Ross Pressley died Saturday, April 3, 2004.
Burial will be 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.
A native of Chester, Mr. Pressley was a son of the late John and Evelyn Pressley. He graduated from Chester High School and the University of South Carolina. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was retired from BellSouth. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was active in Sunday school and served as an usher.
Surviving are his wife, Sara Dixon Pressley; his daughter, Linda LaSelva of Ocala, Fla.; his brother, Lytle Pressley of Lexington; and four grandchildren.
