E. M. (Bob) Bolivar, 70, of Laurel, died Sunday, June 12, 1994, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, with burial in the Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Laurel. The Rev. Ralph Graves will officiate.

He was a retired oil field worker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the V.F.W. and Calvary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lona Cleo Bolivar of the Pendorf Community; three sons, Larry M. Bolivar of Soso, Charles E. Bolivar of Breaux Bridge, La., and Stanley R. Bolivar of the Rushton Community; a daughter, Joy Celynn Jordan of the Myrick Community; a brother, Earl Bolivar of Ellisville; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:30 - 9 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
