Robert Franklin "Frank" Andrews, 84, of Siler City died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.

Mr. Andrews was born in Alamance County on January 25, 1930 the son of Walter Ross and Era (Jones) Andrews. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from Van Thomas Inc. after 42 years of service. Frank was a member of Bonlee Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher and held numerous other church offices. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lois Moore Andrews; his parents; sisters, Irene Newlin, Hazel Miller and Nancy Andrews; brothers, Glenn, Joe, Samuel, Dale and Tommy Andrews.

He is survived by one sister: Marie Andrews of Graham, NC; sisters-in-law, Elsie Andrews of Burlington, NC, Evangeline Andrews of Graham, NC and Billie Andrews of Burlington, NC; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Moore and wife, Audrey of Siler City and William Moore and wife, Edna of Goldsboro, NC and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Bonlee Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Dobson and Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Bonlee, with military rites by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to a Charity of donor's choice.
