Cora Fay Minatra, 79, of Corsicana passed away Mondy, Sep. 12, 2005, in Corsicana. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Corley Funeral Chapel with Dr. Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Eureka Cemetery. Mrs. Minatra was born Aug. 19, 1926, in Corsicana. She was preceded in death by her husband Ruben "Jodie" Minatra on Mar 26, 2001, her parents Henry Vinyard and Mary Ethelene (Grantham) Allsup; and a son James Marion Minatra. Survivors include her daughters, Nelda Gorden and husband Billy and Debbie Yankie and husband Lee, all of Mildred; and Cheryl Minatra of Dallas; grandchildren Terry Gorden, Shane Farmer and Ruben Yankie, all of Mildred, Tim Gorden of Kerens, Tony Gorden of Malakoff, Chris Gorden of Midland and Melissa Riggs of Dallas; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother, James C. Allsup and wife Elisabeth of Mexia, sister Ludie Mae Hanna of Bogata; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
