A. W. "Booter" Stubbs, 84, retired Union Oil worker, of Magee died at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson on December 2, 2000. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Magee.
Funeral services were held at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel on December 4 with burial following at Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee.
Mr. Stubbs is survived by his wife, Mattie Mae Brown Stubbs, a son, John Stubbs of Magee; daughters, Ann Maddox of Brandon, Bo Holbrook, Bobbie Crawford, Nell Walker, and Sheila White, all of Magee; a sister, Etta Wells of Magee; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
