She was born July 21, 1953 in Sikeston, the daughter of Alma (McConnell) Riney of Sikeston and the late L.V. "Joe" Riney.
Carolyn was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and had co-owned Carol's Cards and Gifts in Downtown Sikeston before retiring.
On June 8, 1973 she married Clint Holman; he survives of the home in Sikeston.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Bryan Ayers, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
