Elton C. Lawrence, age 85, of Mullica Hill, NJ passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. Born and raised in Westville, NJ, he was a former Vice President of United Elevator Co. in Philadelphia, Pa.
Elton loved spending time with his family and enjoyed riding his tractor through the woods and watching the wildlife.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of over 50 years, Claire Lawrence(nee Haring). He is also survived by his 3 children, Clay Lawrence, Cyndy Matson and her husband Marty, and Lisa Potruski; 3 grandchildren, Danielle Matson, Emily and Abby Potruski and his sister Elva DuLaney.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 7-9 p. m. at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
