Arthur J. Walker, 67, 1712 E. Dudley St., died Wednesday in Ball Memorial Hospital. Born in Muncie, he was raised in Byrdstown, Tenn., before returning to Muncie in 1958. He had been a classified inspector at Broderick Co. for 13 years.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Margaret Woodson Walker; two sons, Charles "Hollis" Walker and Dallas Wayne Walker, both of Muncie; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Betty Walker, Muncie; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Edna and Harley Smith, Emma and Ross Flowers, and Dorene Flowers, all of Byrdstown, Tenn.; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
