NOTE: Further research reveals the "Millennium File" produced by Ancestry has several errors regarding the marriage of Nathaniel Billings to Jane (Goodenow) Bannister, widow of Christopher Bannister.

The Millennium File shows Jane Bannister married, 19 Mar 1679, the Nathaniel Billings who was born 14 Feb 1665.

This makes Nathaniel (son of John Billings and Elizabeth Hastings) a 14 year old groom to a widowed woman at least 15 years older. Jane bore her first child, John, in 1670 while married to Christopher Bannister. Therefore, the year of her birth is in the probable range of late 1640's to 1650. It is more likely that the widow of Christopher Bannister, Jane Bannister, married Nathaniel's Uncle, Nathaniel Billings, Jr. (1640-1714), son of Nathaniel, Sr.
