Coal Township Resident Dies Mrs. Michael J. Dormer Expires After IllneM of Six Weeks
Mrs. Ellen V. Dormer, 61. wife of Michael J. Dormer, former Coal Township constable, died early this morning at the family residence, 911 West Spruce Street, from complica tions resulting from an illness of six weeks. Mrs. Dormer, a daughter of the late Bernard and Mary (Devlin) Hardy, was born in Shamokin, June 26, 1881, and attended Coal Township schools. She was married to Michael J. Dormer. August 16, 1906, the cere mony being performed in St. Edward Church, with the late Msgr. J. J. Koch officiating. Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Harry Hoberg. Cara cas. Venezuela, who was visiting ! with her mother at the time ot death; three sons, Francis and Bernard. Shamokin; Michael. United States Navy, and two grandchil dren, one sister. Mrs. Anthony Klemick. Shamokin. survives, also. Deceased was a member of St. Jos eph Church and the Rosary Society. funeral arrangements are beine held, pending an extort to locate the son in the Navy.
