Terry J. O'Brien, one of the best known stationary engineers in Decatur, died at 10:45 o'clock Sunday night at St. Mary's hospital. He was sixty-two years old. His death was caused by heart trouble, with which he had suffered for eight months.
Mr. O'Brien came to Decatur from Pennsylvania thirty-five years ago and took a position as stationary engineer for the Decatur Coal company, a position he held continuously until his last illness. During nearly all these years he made his home at 1621 East Eldorado street. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church and had many friends. He is survived by one son, Thomas J. O'Brien, and three daughters, Mrs. A.K. Montgomery and Mrs. Helen Halpin of Canada and Mrs. Lillie Kollogg of New York City.
The body was removed to the Moran undertaking establishment and prepared for burial.

The funeral of Terry J. O'Brien will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church. The services will be conducted by Rev. Father J. Murphy. The interment will be in Calvary. The body will remain in the Moran chapel until time for the funeral.
