Irvin "Monk" Anderson, 75, former resident of 1409 E. Elgin St., died Wednesday at Ball Hospital. He had been a resident of Friendly Hearth Nursing Home for the past two weeks. He was a lifelong resident of Muncie and a member of Wall Avenue Church of God in Christ.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wall Avenue Church of God in Christ with Elder Kenneth Ivy officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Faulkner Mortuary 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.
