Darwin Eugene Byers, 60, of Ottumwa, Iowa, died Saturday March 11, 1995 at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born December 11, 1934 to Royal and Edna Wiles Byers in Stahl, Missouri. He married Bengia Lou Sallee on August 19, 1957 in Kirksville.
He is survived by his father Royal Byers of Ottumwa, Iowa; two daughters, Sharon Ann Basilio of Phoenix, Arizona and Pamela Sue Luedtke of Ottumwa; three sisters, Evelyn Crossgrove of Novinger, Helena McFarland of Ottumwa and Ilene Umphress of Ottumwa and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 15, 1995 at 1:30 p.m. at the Robertson-Jay Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Burial will be at the Lone Pine Cemetery, southeast of Unionville, Missouri.
Bearers will be Paul Crossgrove, Joel Crossgrove, Mike Parker, John Crossgrove, Brian Henry and Robert McFarland.
