Mr. Landrum was born January 1, 1918, the son of the late Mary (Wells) and Kenny Landrum, and passed away June 9, 2014 in a local hospital.
He was retired from the Parks and Recreation of Houston. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker for his family. When he was able, he enjoyed gardening. He never met a stranger. Mr. Landrum was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Linda Landrum; daughter, Janey Ramsey and Denny Paris; grandchildren, Tracie Bowden, Darrell Wonzer, all of Lufkin; James Lakey of Splendora, Terri Walshak of New Caney; and David Landrum of Winter Park, Florida; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Imogene McGahee Landrum; and daughter, Mary Lakey.
