It is probable that the gravestone is that of Enos, Sr. since it appears to be older than that of Mary's. Given the fact that Enos was the only son of Josiah who came to Lockeport, it is logical that he would have been buried near his father. Enos, Jr. married Abigail Locke in 1822 and had quite a large family. While the date of his death is elusive at the time of this writing, it seems that his gravestone would have been of a white marble more modern one than this one. Still, there is a slight possibility that it could be Josiah's grandson, but the fact that Mary is interred there next to Enos is persuasive that it is Enos, Sr.
