Rev. J. Quremais, 1847-1873; died assisting the sick during great Yellow Fever outbreak in 1873.∼Ordained a Catholic priest in January 1871 for the Diocese of Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Martyr for his charitable cause in serving Shreveport's Yellow Fever victims in 1873.

Named a Servant of God by the Catholic Church in December of 2021.
