Bobby Earl Jackson, age 70 passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 20, 1942 in Bogalusa, La. to Demmie Jackson and Anna Bell Brumfield. Bobby grew up in Bogalusa and attended Bogalusa City Schools. He graduated from Central Memorial High School in 1960. After high school he attended Grambling State University where he received a degree in Education. He also attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he received his master degree and his plus 30.
Bobby worked for 34 years in the Bogalusa School System, must of which was spent teaching Louisiana History. He also was a faithful Deacon at Second Missionary Baptist Church until his passing. Bobby was also very active in the community.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Demmie Jackson and Anna Bell Brumfield and his brother Larry "Porkchop" Jackson.
Bobby is survived by his sons, Daylund Jackson (Oakland, Ca.), Kyle Jackson (Dallas, Tx.) and Keith Jackson (Bryan, Tx.); his grandchildren Kayland Jackson (Oakland, Ca.), Kamaya Jackson (Oakland, Ca.) and Kamron Jackson (Bryan, Tx.); and his loving aunts, nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives.
