Born Jan. 8, 1888, son of John and Margaret (Sutton) Adams. Survived by widow, former Rose McGuire, and three children, Mrs. Olive Iozzo, Leonard, Mrs. Alice Harriman and Mrs. Rose Ak?amit, all of White Plains, ; Mrs. May Kollar, Hastings; Homer, New Jersey; Rev. Father Cletus Adams, TOR, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Alverda; Mrs. Grace Davis, Hawaii; John, Johnstown, and Gerald, Altoona; Also 28 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Helen Adams, and Harry, both of St. Augustine; Mrs. Minerva Conrad of Carrolltown; Mrs. Marie Harvey, Homestead Park; and Mrs. Sevillan Gippsich, Altoona. Was retired trainman for Pennsylvania Railroad and was assistant druggist at Grasslands Hospital, White Plains. Solemn high mass at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Rev. Father Cletus Adams, celebrant. Interment, church cemetery. Friends received in Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
