Many wish to link Joe as the son of James and
Sarah "Sally" (Claybourn) Brown # 75803954
but when Ms. Brown's husband James died,
he only listed two son's in his will -- neither
of which was Joe. Descendants believe that
Joe MAY've been a brother to James Brown,
but don't know for certain; hence, parentage
unknown.
