BERTELSON, Robert Glen Born October 9th, 1944 in Butte, Montana. He passed away May 21, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane. Glen enlisted in the U.S. Navy in February 1962, and served four years stationed on the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. RANGER. He enjoyed fly-fishing in the Montana rivers, and the lakes and rivers of Washington. His favorite pastimes were playing pool and poker, and listening to country music. Glen was quite talented at drawing and painting - animals being his specialty. Glen was preceded in death by his father, Ralph; grandparents, "Nanny" Lulu Brown, and Margaret and Carl Bertelson. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine; sister, Cathy; brother, Paul (wife Fay); sons, Robert (Susan and family) and Craig (Rachel and family). We want to give a special thanks to Barb, Virgie and Lynda for their caring help. We also want to thank the staff of Deaconess ER and ICU. Glen enjoyed taking care of and playing with his two best friends - his beautiful cats, Ginger and Ebony. At Glen's request, there will be no service.
