Odell was born in Shreveport on October 25, 1921 to Dave and Adeline Beamer and passed away on March 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Thornhill, second husband, John Rainer and by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dale Thornhill, Danny Rainer and wife, LeeLee, Sherry Kaspar and husband Ed, Charlotte Rainer; grandchildren, D.J. Thornhill, John Thornhill and fiancé Kristen, Sean Rainer and wife Jennifer, Nicole Mayhew and husband Jermey, April Deason and husband Danny, David Bricker-Hyland and wife Michele, Ed Kaspar and wife Julie, Bill Kaspar and Brandy Hofmeister and husband Bernard and numerous great-grandchildren.
Odell worked at Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company. For 34 years she was a mentor and friend to everyone in the company. She had a love of the outdoors, traveling, animals of all kind and for her family and friends. She was well known for her 3 o'clock "happy hour". She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Honoring Odell as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
