Janice Claire Vosburg, age 79, of Lakeville died Monday, June 9, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.

Mrs. Vosburg was born April 12, 1935 in Wilkes Barre, PA and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Emily.

Janice was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, ceramics, canning vegetables & fruits. She was active with the church and community. She was both a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She wasalso a Sunday school teacher.


She is survived by one daughter: Beth Em; two sons: Ralph Eric and wife, Penny; Neal Thomas and wife, Kimber; a sister, Joyce Ann, ten grandchildren; a niece, a nephew and one great grandchild.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, June 13th from 4 to 5:30 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley.

Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
