Jean Marie Kells, 83, of Yuba City died Feb. 25, 2005, at her residence. Born in Marysville, she was a lifetime Yuba-Sutter resident. She was a registered nurse and worked for Dr. Ben Miller. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Nurse Corps.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert "Bob" Kells of Yuba City; a daughter, a son and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Triplett.
Services: A graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave., Sutter, with the Rev. Edgar Nelson officiating.
